- 3. Two battery compartments hold 1 or 2 EN-EL15c batteries and are backward compatible with EN-EL15b, EN-EL15a and EN-EL15 batteries. Batteries can be charged within the vertical handle via a separately purchased USB Type C cable. Note: Batteries are not included.The EN-EL15a and EN-EL15 batteries cannot be charged inside the battery grip.
- 4. Hot-swappable The MB-N12 allows you to replace one of the batteries and continue shooting without having to turn the camera off. Note: Hot-swappable only when two batteries are installed.
