Aquarium Doctor Filter Control encourages the growth of benefical bacteria for total maturation of biological aquarium filters.
TAP Filter control will actively promote the growth of nitrifying bacteria whilst discouraging the formation of heterotrophic bacteria and may be added to existing filter systems to boost performance by promoting nitrifying bacteria levels, enabling higher stocking levels.
Instructions:
New Aquaria: Add 1ml per 4.5 Litres (1 Gallon) of aquarium water once.
Filters should mature in only 2 days, some take up to 3 weeks. Monitor nitrite/ammonia levels and add fish when levels reach zero.
Existing Aquaria: Add 1ml per 45 Litres (10 Gallons) every month to maintain 100% filter performance.
